13 months

Grant is 13 months today. He went on his first vacation this past weekend to Galvestion, thanks to Paw Paw Keith and GranNel! Paw-Paw had fun chasing him around the beach! He had his first taste of salt water! He had such a blast scouring the beach and braving the waves! We had a nice 3 story cottage on the beach and watched the waves and brown pelicans daily. He's not only walking,but RUNNING-oh my! Grant has doubled his birth weight. He's enjoying all different types of food these days. Since it's been berry season, he LOVES blueberries & strawberries! Makes for interesting diaper changes :) He pushes just about anything that will move and climbs just about anything he can swing his leg up on. Yesterday, I found him on top of his convertible car tray pushed up against the dining room table and was playing with a few things I had on top of the table. It's about 2 feet off the ground- scary how fast he figures these things out. He's certainly a little dare devil! He's always smiling and happy. Lately, he likes to run from you when he knows he not supposed to be doing something and laughs so hard while he does it! Is it terrible 1's? He got his forward facing seat and LOVES it! Such a big boy now. He says the words BALL and A-OH. Well, just about everything is BALL. He's moved up to the older infant class. He will learn sign language, play outside more, splash around, and transition away from the bottle. He takes one nap a day now and sleeps through the night- usually 10 hours. Still very little hair, but slowly it's making an appearance- blonde and light brown. Luckily, his eyes are staying blue!
